ERA can help you get ahead of the curve on the newly restructured Stationary Source Audit Sample (SSAS) program.

Beginning June 16, 2013, creation and distribution of audit samples will transition to a private accredited source rather than the EPA; previously the EPA provided audit samples for emissions testing to state and local agencies. Obtaining audit samples will be the responsibility of the source owner or an authorized testing representative or firm.

In accordance with Volume 1, Module 3, Section 5 of the General Requirements for Participation in the TNI SSAS program restricting subcontracting of the analysis of the audit sample, if you choose to send your samples to a laboratory different than that specified when the order is placed, ERA is required to notify your regulator. This may delay receipt of your report as your regulator will determine if the report is acceptable or not acceptable, and if further actions are required.
